RVC is a state-owned development institution, one of the government’s key tools for building a national innovative system


Over the period of its existence, the company has created a wide set of tools aimed at the promotion of venture investments in the country, creation of educational and methodological services for market players, and improvement of global competitive ability of Russian technology companies.

The main goals of RVC’s activities are to stimulate the creation of Russia’s own venture investment industry and to act as the Project Office of the National Technology Initiative.

As the Project Office, RVC is responsible for building around the NTI a management system for coordinating the interests of stakeholders: entrepreneurs, the academic community, and the state.

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects and Russian Venture Company as the Project Office of the National Technology Initiative act as the NTI organizers.
